The Four Legs of Ragna's Table
My Approach to Cooking Vibrant, Healthy, Organic Meals
Food has an incredible way of bringing people together and introducing them to flavors and traditions they may have never experienced before. Through my cooking, I want to share the world’s culinary treasures—dishes that nourish, delight, and expand our appreciation for global cuisine. But great food isn’t just about flavor; it’s about quality, health, and the care that goes into every ingredient, every tool, and every choice along the way.
Everything I make for Ragna’s Table is food I stand behind—meals I would, and do, proudly serve my own family. Sourcing the best organic ingredients, whenever possible, using toxin-free cookware, and choosing sustainable packaging all come at a higher cost, but this isn’t just about business—it’s about our health and our joy. I will never compromise on what truly matters.
Leg 1: Global Perspective
Food is more than just fuel—it’s nourishment, comfort, and a way to bring people together. Having traveled to around 50 countries and lived in 9, I’ve had the good fortune to experience some of the finest recipes and culinary traditions from around the world. These experiences have shaped my approach to cooking; inspiring me to recreate and reimagine these global flavors, with the same care and authenticity that I’ve witnessed, from these kitchens from around the world. Whether it’s a fragrant spice blend from Morocco, a slow-simmered broth from Japan, or a rustic Italian dish made with just a few simple ingredients, the common thread is always quality.

Leg 2: Organic Ingredients

One of the biggest shocks I had when exploring wholesale stores that supply our local restaurants was the complete absence of organic food options. Instead of fresh, natural ingredients, their shelves were filled with mass-produced goods designed for long shelf life and cost efficiency. Bulk produce was conventionally grown with pesticides, while meats, dairy, and eggs often came from large-scale industrial farms reliant on antibiotics, hormones, and questionable feed. It made me realize how challenging it is for restaurants to prioritize high-quality ingredients when the entire supply chain is built around mass production rather than health and sustainability. For the sake of your health and for better tasting food, I use Organic ingredients, whenever possible, for Ragna's Table meals.
Leg 3: Healthy Cookware
What was also a big surprise to me, when touring these restaurant wholesale stores, was the cookware. Nearly all of the cookware that I saw, were things like aluminum pots, plastic cutting boards, and other materials known to leach toxins into food. Non-stick coatings, often made with harmful chemicals, were everywhere, despite growing concerns about their impact on health. Even utensils and storage containers were largely plastic, exposing food to potential contaminants every step of the way. It made me wonder: if these are the standard tools used in so many kitchens, what unseen toxins are making their way into our meals? That’s why in my own kitchen, I choose high-quality, toxin-free cookware and cutting boards made from natural materials.

Leg 4: Earth-Friendly Packaging

At Ragna's Table, it doesn’t stop with the food. I package everything in compostable containers because sustainability matters. Our health isn’t just about what we eat, but also about the impact we leave behind. By choosing compostable take-out packaging, I’m reducing waste, avoiding plastics that can leach chemicals into food, and making sure that every part of the meal—down to the packaging—is as thoughtful as the ingredients inside. It’s important to me that my meals don’t contribute to the growing problem of plastic pollution, which harms both our environment and our health. Using biodegradable and recyclable materials means that every container can break down naturally, leaving behind no toxic residue—just as nature intended.
These four pillars form the stable and loving foundation of every meal from Ragna’s Table: Global Perspective, Organic Food, Healthy Cookware, and Earth-Friendly Packaging. Whether it’s my homemade soups, comforting international meals, or the carefully chosen ingredients, cookware, and packaging, my goal is to provide the kind of exciting and flavorful food I proudly serve to my own family—because I believe we all deserve better. That’s why, in my own kitchen, I prioritize high-quality, toxin-free cookware and cutting boards made from natural materials. I take the time to prepare every meal from scratch, avoiding unnecessary preservatives and artificial flavors. It’s not just about health—it’s about taste, too. Fresh, organic ingredients simply make for better tasting food.
Eating well shouldn’t come at the cost of our health or the environment. At Ragna’s Table, every meal is made with care—for people, for flavor, and for the planet.

Love,
Ragna Stamm'ler-Adamson ❤️
